Commissioned by the same design company as the BBC small town garden canopy, this canopy was produced for the Cancer Research garden stand at a flower show.

The designer’s brief was to create a structure that appeared to be dynamic, to provide good sun shading and be pleasing to the eye.

The rather un-traditional curved corners were produced on the canopy by simply fixing in laser-cut steel sections that acted as a false termination for the canopy corners. These were then tensioned back to the curved masts, which were in turn fixed to the under-floor bracing structure.
