Interior Restaurant Screens

  • Project: Feature Canopies, Stoke Mandeville Hospital
  • Description: Interior Restaurant Screens
  • Location: Stoke Mandeville
  • Applications: Dining Feature Canopy
  • Fabric: S Screen
  • Frame: Mild Steel
  • Fixings: S/S Forks
  • Ref: 1823

We installed these simple feature canopies as part of a grand design to improve the feel of the restaurant area at Stoke Mandeville Hospital.

Tensioned to a mild steel frame, the fabric has two penetrations which sit over the supporting legs, which are in turn fixed down to the top of the timber plinths.

The fabric used is an E Screen, which is fire rated to BS 476 class O and has a very stable make-up. This means the penetrations in the fabric did not need to be re-enforced.

The installation took two men a single day to install.
